Abstract
Combining wearable inertial measurement units with soft strain sensors enables stable, long-duration monitoring of shoulder motion. With only brief calibration, this hybrid approach corrects drift in inertial sensing, enabling reliable tracking of complex three-dimensional shoulder movements beyond controlled laboratory environments.
